Out with the old, in with the new.

This boat was still rocking the original Infinity speakers powered by a radio with a CD player.  It was time to get some new equipment that was more capable, louder, and can connect a phone to play your music.

The Vision

The original head unit could only play the radio and CDs. We needed to upgrade this for Bluetooth control and give the user a better experience with more control. The existing sound system was hardly usable while underway. We needed to upgrade the speakers and get more power to this boat to make it more enjoyable.

The Process

We replaced the head unit and then ran new wired remotes to the helm and swim platform for easy control of the music.  We upgraded the original speaker locations with Hertz marine speakers and then took some measurements to add a subwoofer to the system. We found a great spot under the rear seats to add a Hertz 10-inch marine subwoofer.  The whole system was powered by a Hertz marine amplifier.
