Upgraded Speakers

We upgraded the worn out speakers in this SeaRay. We upgraded the sound with a new marine head unit and amplifier.

The Vision

The boat arrived with original speakers that had a lot of wear and needed a fresh sound.  It was lacking power so an amplifier was needed to get better volume out of the system.

The Process

We found Hertz marine speakers that fit into the original speaker openings and replaced all four locations.  We added a four channel Rockford Fosgate marine amplifier under the helm to power the new speakers and make them sound great in the open air environment.  We replaced the head unit with a Clarion Marine unit for Bluetooth music control.  The location of the head unit was not ideal for the captain, so two separate wired remotes were installed. One was mounted next to the steering wheel for easy access and a secondary remote control was mounted on the swim platform for control from the water.
