Pure Sound Quality
The Bang and Olufsen OEM sound system had to go in this R8. We wanted to create an excellent sound quality system with precision and accuracy in the music. This was achieved with Audiofrog GB series speakers powered by Mosconi Pro amplifiers and controlled through an Audison bit One HD Virtuoso processor. We also installed an Escort MAX 360 Ci built in radar detector with laser shifters.
The Vision
This build was about detail and sound quality over quantity. We were looking for detail and wanted to create a well balanced and enjoyable listen experience.
The Process
We disassembled the vehicle to remove the original amplifier and audio components and integrated into the OEM digital sound system with a NavTV ZEN interface. From here we proccessed the signal through an Audison bit One HD Virtuoso DSP and then sent the signal on to the Mosconi PRO class A/B amplifiers for amazing detail and sound quality. The Audiofrog GB series active 3-way speaker system helped us deliver the detail and accuracy we were looking for while still delivering the power to get great volume from the system. The Audiofrog carbon fiber GB10CF tweeters were the icing on the cake.
