Better Sound For Fun
This Slingshot got a JL Audio upgrade and much better sound.
The Vision
The lackluster original sound system needed an upgrade and marine speakers are a good choice in this type of environment.
The Process
We needed more power and speakers to achieve better volume with the open air and wind noise to combat. Two JL Audio Stealtbox 10-inch subwoofers were added behind each seat. JL Audio M3 marine speakers were added in place with SSV works speaker pods. The system was powered by a Kenwood eXcelon five-channel amplifier that fit in the dash behind the radio.
