We upgraded the speakers in the doors with Audison Voce 6.5″ component speakers for superior clarity and mid-bass capabilities.
The Vision
We wanted to keep the original feel of the car with subtle custom touches. The overall goal was to replace the speakers in the doors and the factory subwoofer between the seats. With this engine, exhaust, and convertible top, the sound system had to be able to perform above all of this to be clearly heard.
The Process
We removed the original speakers, subwoofer and hardware. The new amplifier was able to hide in the trunk were the original CD changer was located. We built a new trim panel and covered it in black carpet to blend in with the rest of the trunk. The subwoofer is mounted between the seats and we laser etched a Ferrari logo under the subwoofer.
The Timeline
This was a three day build followed by a JL Audio MAX tuning session.
