Full Sound Upgrade with OEM Fitment from Helix

We utilized the sound upgrade system from Audiotec-Fischer to fully upgrade the audio system this BMW X6. The original Harman Kardon system was lacking excitement and detail so we looked toward our partners of Helix and MATCH to find perfect solutions with their Helix speaker flex mounts and MATCH amplifier upgrade harness. Their upgrade kit included everything we needed from speaker mounts to perfect fit wiring plug adapters to make this system fit just like the original equipment, but sound much better.

The Vision

We wanted to keep everything looking original in this brand new X6 but the sound was lacking. We needed better detail and volume.

The Process

We dissassembled the rear side compartment where the Harman Kardon amplifier is located and replaced it with a ten-channel MATCH amplifier that has built-in DSP technology to allow us to replicate may of the aspects of the OEM system while upgrading the sound.
