A Van built for the passengers
We upgraded the rear sound in this luxury Mercedes Sprinter conversion so the owner and family can be driven around and bring the great sound with them
The Vision
We went for upgraded sound and style in the back of this Sprinter. We wanted better bass and more output, but also something that could be fun and look great with the interior styling.
The Process
We went with JL Audio Marine M6 speakers for this install. Though it is not very common to use marine speakers in a vehicle, the speaker placement worked well. We added an RGB lighting controller to give the speakers an elegant glow. There was almost no room for a traditional subwoofer, however we added three of the JL Audio M6 10-inch infinite baffle subwoofers under the rear bench seats and they tucked in perfectly. The system was powered by a JL Audio VX800/8i amplifier with DSP control and the subwoofers were powered from a Match UP 1FX amplifier. Both amplifiers were able to fit under the front passenger seat.
The Timeline
This was a one week build followed by a JL Audio MAX tuning session.
