Vicky has owned Santa Fe Auto Sound with her husband Mark since 1984. She served on the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association, (MERA) Executive Board from 1998-2008 and was president from 2002-2004. Vicky has served on various committees for MERA and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and currently is a board member of CEA’s Automotive Electronics Division. She has also presented multiple seminars at MERA Knowledgefest on topics of business management. Other awards include Kansas City Small Business Magazine’s “25 Under Twenty-Five” award, which is given to businesses with fewer than 25 employees that excel in the Kansas City market. Vicky is a certified Toastmaster.
Mark began his career in the mobile electronics industry in 1977, and along with his wife Vicky, purchased Santa Fe Auto Sound in 1984. Mark is an ASE-Certified Automobile Technician for electronics and electronic systems. He has received many industry certifications including MECP and Alpine GAIT training. Mark served as a judge for the International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) at Nationals in Tempe, AZ in 1990. He is also an avid bicyclist and former president of the Johnson County Bike Club.
Adam started in the mobile electronics industry as an installation technician in 1999. He is an ASE-Certified Automobile Technician for electronics and electronic systems. Adam has received many other industry certifications, including Advanced Sound Quality from Mobile Soundstage Engineering in 2009 and 2012. He is an all-around automotive enthusiast and general tinkerer.
Scott started in the electronics industry in 1999 and moved specifically into the mobile electronics side in 2006. Scott has attended numerous manufacturer training events, including regional and national events such as MERA’s Knowledgefest.Scott has also attended training from Mobile Solutions, a leader in custom fabrication and installation technology.
David is a car enthusiast who enjoys working on all types of vehicles. He is our main off-site specialist and works primarily on commercial fleet vehicles.
